On-Site Registration

The International Visual Sociology Association(IVSA) 2025 Annual Conference will be held for the first time in Asia, from June 25 to 28 at Ajou University in Suwon, South Korea. The conference will bring together over 250 scholars and researchers from 30 countries, providing an exceptional opportunity to explore the convergence of visual culture and emerging technologies—ranging from photography, film, and drawing to webtoons, VR, and AI.

The academic program includes over 210 research presentations, as well as featured sessions addressing critical topics such as the Korean military regime and resistance culture in K-pop. Presentations will be delivered in English and Korean, with simultaneous interpretation provided for key sessions.

We invite you to register on-site for IVSA 2025 and engage in in-depth academic exchange with leading researchers and artists from around the world, opening up new horizons in visual and media research.
